As the sun slowly dips down below the horizon and creation soaks up those final drops of sunlight, nature begins to experience a shift in rhythms as it prepares for sleep.
Whether you’ve been in the garden, at work, or lounging around the house, your skin bears the remnants of the day with your face being one of the more exposed surfaces. This is where oil cleansing comes in to bring gentle relief and restore skin.
Sunsets in the Garden is our go-to cleansing oil. The formula is simple, but powerful with whole flower infusions of calendula + lavender and sea buckthorn oil all blended into a base of jojoba oil.
In every season, gardens need tending to and so does your skin.

How are they formulated?
How are they formulated?
Our cleansing oils are carefully formulated in small-batches using organic, non-comedogenic botanical oils, making them suitable for all skin types. These oils are a gentle, oil-based alternative to traditional cleansers designed to remove excess sebum, dirt and debris, makeup, and sunscreen (including waterproof). The best part is not only are they effective, they do all of this without stripping the skin’s natural barrier.
How do they work?
How do they work?
The oil cleansing method (OCM) is based on the principle that “like dissolves like”, meaning oil attracts oil, making it possible for these oils to effectively break down, lift, and wash away oil-based impurities.
Recommended use:
Recommended use:
Shake gently. Apply 1-2 pumps onto clean fingers or directly onto dry skin (face and neck area). Gently massage the oils into your skin using circular motions for 1-2 minutes. Wet a clean washcloth with warm (can be “super-warm” but not hot) water and place it over your entire face to create a gentle steam effect. Leave this cloth on your face for 30-60 seconds, or until the cloth begins to cool. You can repeat this step for another 30 seconds with warm water to further enjoy this mini spa treatment. Using the same warm, damp cloth, gently wipe away the oil. Work in sections, using light pressure. Rinse the cloth in warm water as needed and continue until most of the oil has been removed. (Keep in mind, oil cleansing leaves skin moisturized instead of dry like most other forms of cleansers). Gently pat skin dry with a clean, soft towel.
